CALL FOR ARTISTS - We are seeking artist submissions for "All The Small Things", a small works show! There is no theme or restrictions on subject matter, but all work must measure 12"x12" and under, including frame.
The opening reception will be held on Thursday, June 5th, 2025 from 6pm-10pm at Northern Contemporary, 420 Roncesvalles Ave, Toronto.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
- You may submit up to 5 pieces that fit the criteria. The gallery may select any number of your submissions to be included in the show. Please do not submit work that has previously been shown at Northern Contemporary.
- Pieces must be 12"x12" or under, including the frame. The entirety of the artwork - including frame - must be under 12"x12".
- There are no limits on theme or medium. However, we do not accept "AI generated art".
- Please provide clear photos of your pieces, exactly as they will be displayed in the show (for example, include the frame if your piece is framed). Please ensure all files are named with your info as follows: "ARTISTNAME_ARTWORKTITLE.jpg"
- Pieces must be ready to hang with proper hanging hardware already attached. Works on paper must be framed. Wall-hanging artwork must be able to hang from a single nail. We do not accept command hooks, velcro, or similar. Artists working in sculpture should be prepared to provide or arrange their own display units if requested by the gallery.
- There is a $35 hanging fee for the first piece. Every additional piece accepted is $10.
- All pieces must be for sale. Please list prices in CAD.

EXHIBITION DETAILS:
Drop off: March 5th, noon-6pm
Pick up: March 19th, noon-6pm
Commission: The gallery takes a 40% commission on sales.
Hanging fee: $35 for the first accepted piece, $10 for each additional accepted piece.
Right of Sale: Northern Contemporary Gallery will have the exclusive right of sale for exhibited artwork for 30 days after the exhibition's close.
Unsold artwork and commission payouts must be collected on the pickup date, the gallery cannot store anything past this day.

Eligibility: This call for artists is open to all artists. Painting, drawing, mixed media, and sculpture are all acceptable mediums. Keep in mind that Northern Contemporary focuses on illustrative, representational, urban, lowbrow, comic, pop art, and experimental work.
Artworks must be dropped off in person during drop-off hours, not earlier. Due to high volume, the gallery does not accept mailed or couriered works for open call shows.
